The lockdown of the Darwin area and Alice Springs ceased at 1pm on 21 July 2021.
Restrictions continue to apply in the former lockdown area (as defined by Direction 26
below) and to people that have been in the former lockdown area.

There are no restrictions on leaving home, and travel to other areas of Northern
Territory is permitted. Masks are required both indoors and outdoors, when physical
distancing of 1.5m cannot be achieved. Some places, premises, activities and services
are required to remain closed or operate with restrictions.
